Rectangular shape vessels were find in necropolis and this type were used like lamps, censers or vessels used in the consumption of narcotics. Ritual vessels are found on a vast territory (Volga – Don – south of the Ural – the Carpathian Basin) and its being used till 4th century BC - until the Late period, in 4th century AD). The vessels discovered in the graves from Banat Region are exclusively of small sizes, hand-made, rectangular in shape or with rectangular base and averted walls, from grey, dark brown or black clay and the surfaces being polished. In generally, the pots were contained strong burning traces or dark stains, from the resins or substances burnt there.
