Cu privire la durata de funcționare a podului de la Sucidava

Abstract:

Some researchers have hypothesized that the bridge at Sucidava, built by Emperor Constantine the Great in 328 AD, ceased to exist before 367 AD, when Emperor Valens led a campaign against the Goths at the Lower Danube and could not cross the river. We consider that this hypothesis should be treated with caution, since Sucidava is not placed inside the conflict area.
